Key Facts:
- Block lift kits are the most economical way to
add more ground clearance to your golf cart
- Spindle and Axel lifts are the most popular lift
due to the ease of their installation
- A-arm lifts are the best way to upgrade the
entire front suspension of a cart
- Long Travel lifts allow you to have a fully independent front suspension
Types
of Lift Kits:
There are several types of
lift kits that we offer and each type serves a different purpose. Choosing the
right one will ensure the best ride for the terrain you will be encountering.
There are 5 basic types to consider: Block, Spindle, Axel, A-arm and Long
Travel. We will walk you through the differences in each type:
Spindle
Lift Kit
If you are just cruising
around the block or coasting down the trails at the park, but you need to lift
it up higher than what the block lift allows, the spindle kit is the way to go. These kits are very
easy to install and provide 5"- 6" of lift allowing for up to a
22"- 23" tire. These kits replace either the original spindles or the
axel with "dropped" versions to lift the existing suspension. This
lift kit will widen the wheel base by up to 4" total.

Drop
Axle Lift Kit
If you are just cruising
around the block or coasting down the trails at the park, but you need to lift
it up higher than what the block lift allows, the drop axel kit is the way to
go. These kits are very easy to install and provide 5"- 6" of lift
allowing for up to a 22"- 23" tire. These kits replace either the
original spindles or the axel with "dropped" versions to lift the
existing suspension. This lift kit will widen the wheel base by up to 4"
total.
Replaces Factory Axle with Heavy Duty Version
Pushes the axle away from the body
A-Arm
Lift Kit
The A-Arm style lift kit
replaces and upgrades the existing suspension in combination with
"dropped" spindles, to not only lift the golf car, but to also
increase the level of suspension provided. These kits are great for farm work
or off-road situations where you may encounter terrain that a stock golf cart
wouldn't normally see or be able to traverse. A-arm lifts are typically
available in 4" and 6" versions that will allow a tire up to 20"
and 22" respectively. This lift kit will widen the wheel base by up to
2" total.
Overhauls Entire Front Suspension
Softer Ride
Long
Travel Lift Kit
The final lift kit is
the long travel. This is by far the best lift kit on the
market. You are replacing the existing suspension with independent suspension
that has an adjustable lift height from 4 to 8 inches, that will allow a tire
size of up to 25". There are two reasons to consider the long travel kit:
heavy duty off-road situations, or a soft ride in any situation. Not only does
this kit provide the ability to go anywhere a 4 wheeler would, it also softens
the ride quite a bit. So, if you are tired of feeling every little bump in the
road, the long travel is the lift for you. This lift kit will widen the wheel
base by up to 8" total.
