Why do I need to know the year of my Golf
Cart
Knowing
the year, make and model of your golf cart is important when you need to order
parts or accessories. In order to ensure you purchase the correct parts
for your golf cart we will need to know the exact model year for your cart.
Use
the information provided below to look up your serial number and find the model
year. Yamaha has released three series of golf carts: the G Series, the Drive
Series, and the Adventurer Series. Most collections include both gas and
electric models, so keep that in mind as you search for your model year. For a
look at the timeline of the various models, check out this Yamaha
golf cart timeline.
Most Yamaha golf carts have few different numbers on
them, so it’s important to know how to identify the Serial Number and where to
look. The Serial number has always three letters/numbers which are the most
important and will determine your cart's model, followed by 6-digit production
number.
